hey everyone my name is Benwardo…..i’ve been playing upright bass for 3 years now andi must say it was the hardest instrument for me to learn but it’s my favourite aside from drums and guitar…i used to strictly be a punk rocker and didn’t open up to anything else until i came across psychobilly….when i saw how cool the upright looked and saw guys rocking out on this bass i was sold!….along with learning how to play, i discovered so many other genres that went along with this instrument and i was so amazed and blown away by how awesome these different type of genres were!…i started grabbing influences from gypsy, swing, and bluegrass with psychobilly ….i still laugh at myself when i listen to the latest charlaz record…i never thought i would like this type of music, but i love it! great record….thanks to this instrument, and this website, i’m a better musician today! i’m currently playing and travelling with my band the coffins http://www.myspace.com/thec0ffins but i’m looking for other projects aswell to keep busy…my personal myspace and youtube account are posted on this site already somewhere
