Djordje Stijepovic

Djordje Stijepovic is a Grammy nominated, award winning, world's premier upright slap bass player and instructor. He has a MA in classical double bass performance, subsequently obtaining a degree in jazz bass and jazz arrangements as well. He is a former bass player for the Head Cat (with Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead and Slim Jim Phantom of Stray Cats), Drake Bell and Fishtank Ensemble. He currently performs solo, with Molotov, Tiger Army and often appears as a guest musician for artists like Tommy Emmanuel, Marco Beltrami, Rachel Brice and others. Djordje founded the Art of Slap Bass on June 10th, 2009. He is also the host for a weekly slap bass show "Slapstream with Djordje - Live from Slapsville".
